New company to develop precision weapons against cancer tumours

After almost ten years, researchers at Aarhus University have converted a natural cell toxin into a substance with potential to kill even the most stubborn cancer cells. Now they have set up a company to make the substance ready for hospitals.

Strategic partnership with Arla Foods

Since 2011, Arla Foods and Aarhus University have collaborated to create new and useful knowledge for the company, Danish research and the population. Arla Foods has the data and knows what's relevant to research, while the university contributes with new knowledge.

Strategic partnership with Grundfos

The Danish company Grundfos is the world's largest manufacturer of pump solutions, and with its focus on students, in 2017 the company entered into a strategic agreement with Aarhus University to promote collaboration with students.

X-ray revealed why thermoelectric material was damaged by heat

Through the non profit partnership LINX (Linking Industry to Neutrons and X-rays), TEGnology ApS received help from researchers at the Department of Chemistry to detect errors in the company's thermoelectric material.

Development of medicine takes time. But with a protocol the pharmaceutical industry can work faster and in collaboration with industrial PhD and Aarhus University Novo Nordisk researches in making a protocol.

New magnet technology to enhance green energy
