The Carlsberg Foundation awards Research Prize to Professor of Chemistry Karl Anker Jørgensen
The prize was awarded for his ground-breaking research in organic chemistry.
On Sunday 3 September, Professor Karl Anker Jørgensen, Department of Chemistry, was presented with one of the two Carlsberg Foundation Research Prizes 2017.
He received the prize for his for ground-breaking research in homogeneous catalysis with particular focus on metal-catalysed oxidation reactions and asymmetrical catalysis.
