I do research into pain caused by a lesion or a disease of the nervous system (neuropathic pain). Right now, I am working on improving the understanding of the molecular mechanisms behind neuropathic pain caused by treatment with chemotherapy.
My primary tasks are concerned with the research and project development related to my PhD project on neuropathic pain in patients who have undergone chemotherapy. Additionally, I contribute - in the usual PhD manner - to the general research at the Danish Pain Research Center through exchange of ideas, teaching of students, and by giving presentations.
