I’m a translational cancer researcher with a background in Molecular Medicine (MSc and PhD, Aarhus University). I specialize in circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) analysis for improving cancer treatment, with a special focus on colorectal cancer.
My research focuses on using circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) as a minimally invasive biomarker to detect molecular residual disease, monitor disease recurrence, and guide treatment decisions in colorectal cancer. A key part of my work is serial ctDNA analysis, which allows me to estimate tumor growth rates, which could be a promising tool for identifying particularly aggressive disease and guiding timely intervention.
I work on the development and clinical application of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) as a biomarker in colorectal cancer. My focus is on disease monitoring, treatment response evaluation, and early relapse detection through serial ctDNA analysis. I’m involved in both clinical research and method development.
