Two new professors in theoretical physics appointed
Georg Bruun and Nikolaj Thomas Zinner have both been appointed professors in theoretical physics at Department of Physics and Astronomy at Aarhus University.

Georg Bruun's research deals with quantum many-particle physics including cold atomic gases, semiconductors, topological phases, and hybrid light-matter systems. He has been employed at Aarhus University as Associate Professor since 2010
Nikolaj Thomas Zinner's research deals with quantum mechanical systems from the very small to the slightly larger, both with regard to basic research questions about what is possible in the world of quantum physics, as well as in a broader perspective about the use of quantum mechanical systems in the technology of the future. He has been employed at Aarhus University since 2010
