My research is focused on agroecology, geography, agricultural history and food networks using statistical (R) and geographical (GIS) tools to investigate these aspects mainly from a systems perspective including and evaluating aspects of Nature-based Solutions and dimensions for a more sustainable future
I contribute to teaching at both BSc and MSc levels within agronomy and agroecology, focusing on the interrelations between agricultural systems, sustainability, and environmental management. My teaching combines classroom lectures, field excursions, and project supervision, emphasizing interdisciplinary and practice-oriented learning.
My research involves broad interdisciplinary collaboration within Aarhus University and with external partners in Denmark and across Europe. Within AU, I work with colleagues from different research centers to explore the intersections between agricultural systems, geography, history, and food culture.
In addition to academic collaborations, I engage with agricultural educators and scientists, connecting research with practical and cultural perspectives.
