I lead a translational cancer bioinformatics group focused on the interplay between the immune system and cancer. Using genomic, transcriptomic, and single-cell data, we study cancer development, treatment response, and patient outcomes. Our goal is to integrate tumor and host biomarkers into holistic measures to guide precision therapy and improve clinical decision-making.
Our research focuses on bioinformatic analysis of high-dimensional data to understand the interaction between the immune system and cancer. Using genomic, transcriptomic, and single-cell data, we explore tumor biology and host immune responses to develop integrated, holistic biomarkers that can predict treatment response and support improved patient care.
I lead a research group performing translational cancer research using bioinformatic tools. Our field of interest includes most cancer types, but particularly including lung, bladder, colon and melanoma.
