Dr. Lingxiao Zhang is currently a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Research Fellow, who has expertise in biomedical engineering, materials sciences, and immunology. Before joining Aarhus University, Dr. Zhang served as a research assistant professor and associate professor at Zhejiang University. Up till now, he has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles in Advanced Materials, Advanced Science, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews, etc.
My research focuses on the development and application of next-generation nano-aluminum adjuvants (NanoAlum) for drug delivery and immunotherapy. These include (1) efficient antigen delivery to induce effective humoral and cellular immunity, (2) remodeling of the aberrant tumor physicochemical microenvironment to enhance immunotherapy, (3) brain-targeted drug delivery to treat neurodegenerative diseases and glioma, (4) development of iterative metal ion-doped NanoAlum (NanoMAlum) for stimulus-responsive therapy.
