Most of my resesearch is directed towards accurate determinations of basic stellar parameters, such as mass, radius and age from photometric and spectroscopic observations. This work is mainly conducted using the Stellar Observations Network Group (SONG) telescopes.
My teaching is with the field of observational astrophysics and data analysis and introduction to the study of galaxies in the universe. Furthermore I am co-organiser of the Instrumentcenter for Danish Astrophisics (IDA) annual observingschool at the Nordic Optical Telescope.
I am the main resoponsible for the analysis of data from the SONG telescopes and carries out the extraction of spectral data and measurement of ultra-precise radial velocities. I am the locally resoponsible for the use, by the astronomy group, of the telescope at the Ole Rømer Observatory in Aarhus.
