As a researcher, I have specialized in cancer research with a particular focus on the evolutionary mechanisms of cancer and epidemiological studies of kidney cancer. My work combines bioinformatics and biostatistics to analyze large, complex datasets from genomics, translatomics, epigenomics, and single-cell omics, as well as registry data.
I hold a PhD in Bioinformatics from the Technical University of Denmark, where I also earned my MSc.Eng. in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology. My previous research has covered areas such as infectious diseases and immunology, including experience in translational research in allergy and pathogen evolution.
