Profile

I’m a postdoc at Aarhus University’s Department of Biomedicine, working in the laboratory of Professor Jacob Giehm Mikkelsen. My position is in affiliation with the Center for Immunology of Viral Infections (CiViA). I have PhD. degree in molecular medicine with a background in genetics, genome engineering and functional genomics.

Research

My primary expertise is in functional genomics, utilizing CRISPR/Cas9 and lentiviral vectors. I employ CRISPR-based genome screening to investigate innate immune regulation, cellular responses to viral infections, and mechanisms of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Additionally, I work on delivering CRISPR/Cas9 systems via virus-like particles for therapeutic applications.
